Welcome to Scoop.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Scoop mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, accessing, or using Scoop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. WHO WE ARE

Scoop is operated by Scoop Dating Limited ("Scoop", "we", "our", or "us").

References to "you" or "user" mean any individual who accesses or uses the Services.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You may only use Scoop if:

You are at least 18 years old;
You can legally enter into a binding agreement;
You are not prohibited from using dating services under applicable laws;
You have not been permanently removed from Scoop previously.

By using Scoop, you represent and warrant that these requirements are satisfied.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

You agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information;
Maintain current account information;
Keep login credentials secure;
Be responsible for activity occurring under your account.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

4. SCOOP SERVICES

Scoop provides:

Individual and group matching features;
Messaging functionality;
User profiles;
Friend and group management features;
Premium subscription services;
Advertising-supported features.

We do not guarantee that any match, conversation, friendship, relationship, or meeting will result from use of the Services.

5. USER CONTENT

You remain the owner of content you upload, including:

Photos
Profile information
Messages
Group content
Other submitted materials

By uploading content, you grant Scoop a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit.

6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse others;
Upload illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful, violent, or sexually exploitative content;
Impersonate another person;
Share another person's private information without consent;
Use automated bots, scripts, or scraping tools;
Attempt to reverse engineer the Services;
Circumvent account restrictions or bans;
Create multiple accounts to evade enforcement actions;
Use Scoop for commercial advertising or solicitation;
Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code.

Violation of these Terms may result in immediate suspension or termination.

7. SAFETY

Scoop does not conduct criminal background checks on all users.

Users are responsible for exercising caution when interacting with others online or meeting in person.

You acknowledge that interactions with other users occur entirely at your own risk.

Always meet in public places and take appropriate safety precautions.

8. REPORTING AND BLOCKING

Scoop provides tools to:

Report users;
Block users;
Submit safety concerns.

We reserve the right to investigate reports and take action including:

Warnings;
Temporary suspensions;
Permanent account removal;
Referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

We are not obligated to disclose investigation outcomes.

9. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES

Certain features may require payment.

Subscription purchases are processed through:

Apple App Store
Google Play Store

Subscription pricing, billing frequency, and renewal terms are displayed before purchase.

Unless cancelled, subscriptions automatically renew according to the terms of the relevant app store.

Refund requests are governed by the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made.

10. ADVERTISING

Scoop may display advertisements and sponsored content.

Users acknowledge that advertising may be shown within the Services, including rewarded advertisements and other promotional content.

11. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

You may delete your account at any time through the Application.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms;
We reasonably believe you pose a risk to other users;
We are required to do so by law;
We discontinue the Services.

Termination may result in loss of access to messages, matches, subscriptions, and content.

12. DISCLAIMERS

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scoop makes no guarantees regarding:

Availability of the Services;
Accuracy of user content;
Success of matches;
Compatibility between users;
Continuous or uninterrupted operation.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scoop Dating Limited shall not be liable for:

Indirect damages;
Consequential damages;
Loss of profits;
Loss of goodwill;
Loss of data;
Personal interactions between users.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scoop Dating Limited, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising from:

Your use of the Services;
Your content;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of applicable law.

15. PRIVACY

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Please review our Privacy Policy carefully before using Scoop.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may modify these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through the Application, website, or other reasonable means.

Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
